Bio:
Juliane is a Public Health leader with over 15 years of experience in the world of wellness. She has worked in healthcare settings including hospitals and the private healthcare sector. She has been a Nutritionist, a Personal Trainer and a Holistic Health Coach, supporting her clients to become the best versions of themselves. She currently works as a Senior Health Educator for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as part of the Wellbeing Center initiative where she contributes to students' wellbeing and education success rate throughout programming and partnerships across the Department of Public Health, LAUSD and PPLA. She is proud of the 3 centers she runs and the meaningful work she gets to do with the youth with the support of the teams she supervises. During the pandemic, she worked on emergency response and managed teams of contact tracers, she supported the safe reopening of schools, she was assigned to the megapods vaccination centers, and she supervised COVID-19 call lines centers. She holds a Bachelor degree in Nutrition Sciences from Brooklyn College, and a Master degree in Public Health from CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). More recently she completed her Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training with the city of El Segundo where she resides. She is committed to continue bridging the worlds of Public Health and Emergency Response through her dedication to community education and her love of fast paced environments. During her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with those she loves.
